Hard Rock Hotel at Universal is hands-down my favorite place to stay. I truly can’t say enough good things about this resort — it hits the mark in every way.
The Express Pass benefit that comes with your stay is unbeatable and adds so much value, especially if you're planning to spend full days in the parks. And you really can’t beat the location — it's the closest hotel to Universal Studios, and being able to walk to the parks in just a few minutes makes a huge difference.
The rooms are clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with that signature Hard Rock style. The whole hotel has a fun, upscale vibe, but it's also welcoming and relaxed. The atmosphere, music, and overall energy of the resort just put you in vacation mode right away.
We also appreciated that there was plenty of parking, and everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and efficient.
If you’re looking for a Universal hotel that combines convenience, comfort, and a cool vibe, Hard Rock is it. It’s easily our top pick, and we’re already looking forward to staying here again.

We recently stayed here after previously staying at Portofino Bay and Royal Pacific. This property takes the lead as our favorite resort at Universal. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The property was clean and well kept. The pool was great with the music being played underwater and the best water slide of any resort we'd stayed at. The beds were also very comfortable and we slept wonderfully. All that being said the proximity to the parks and City Walk is unbeatable. We will definitely be back!

Literally they have to work on the staff service., regarding smiles, regarding warm attention, regardy quality costumer service. Could be a lot better. In every single area of the hotel.
Great location, nice views, good food. Very very expensive, but beeing near universal has its costs. Portofino properties, are a better option, regarding attention, prices about the same.
Rooms quality are also about the same..a little bit bigger than HRock. Has a great pool for the family.

We had an amazing stay at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando! Loved everything about it and truly enjoyed our time there.
Plus, I was pleasantly surprised with an incredible flower delivery from Lu & Fleur that my sweetheart arranged. 💞😍🥰The flowers were absolutely stunning and made my day even more special. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks, Orlando, for the warm visit!

This hotel is a must if you are visiting Universal and wish to spend time properly exploring the parks. It's location is second to none and in east walking / short boat journey from both Universal Studios and Universal Islands of Adventure. The hotel also puts on regular transport to Epic and Volcano Bay. It is in beautiful surroundings, set on the river, in acres of trees and mature gardens. The rooms are basic and no balcony but amazingly comfortable beds and pillows. You will probably spend a lot of time eating at the parks and / or City Walk but the food offering is good with 3 nice restaurants and a very good fast food outlet serving breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The best thing of all is the Express Pass option, making your time at Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure extremely easy and pleasurable. When we return I would not be able to look past this hotel.
