We enjoyed our stay in february 2026 a lot. The price was very reasonable for what we got in return ( great variety of food, heated swimming pool, entertaonment for kids, gaming zone) . We took all inclusive option. The top great things about the hotel were:
1. Original drinks in all inclusive option ( beer, wine, soft drinks straight from the bottle, which is not common in other hotels).
2. Very high level of cleaniness and hygene. Room service every day, every day fresh towels and wiping even under the beds!
3. Wonderful, weel maintained garden, trees and flowers inside and outside hotel.
The staff was very kind and helpful.
Cafeteria offers a wide variety of quality food and drinks ( all inclusive).
All in all it is a great value for money and we recommend the hotel.

The bedroom was large, the beds were comfortable and there was ample wardrobe space.
The bathroom was large and the bathtub could have been replaced by a shower plate, which is far more comfortable and helps save water.
The buffets had a variety of delicious food dishes, fruits, cheeses and desserts.
The waiters were attentive and helpful but short on staff to clear and prepare the tables.
There is an indoor swimming pool and a sauna for the use of the hotel clients.

We stayed at the Meliá Benidorm as a group of 13 and honestly, we couldn’t fault it. The hotel was immaculate throughout, spotless rooms, comfortable beds and everything maintained to a really high standard. You can tell they take pride in the place.
The location is perfect. It’s close enough to everything you need but still feels relaxed. There’s a Lidl directly across the road which was so handy for snacks and essentials, and a lovely Chinese buffet right opposite as well – ideal for big groups like ours.
We enjoyed it that much we’re already looking to book again for next year. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Benidorm, whether you’re going as a couple, family or a larger group like us.

This hotel was great and the staff were amazing, especially the restaurant staff, they do not stop! I had emailed some questions a few times and there was no delay in a reply which was much appreciated. Our flight was going to arrive after 10pm and they offered a plate of cold food left in our room as we had booked half board, unfortunately we ended up diverted and arrived much later and the receptionist on arrival (Mon 27th) was so lovely. Sadly, no food plate but we were too exhausted anyway, so not worth a moan.
Surroundings of pool and inside the hotel was so clean and the chilled music by the pool was relaxing.
There is a Spa, but we didn’t use it, but will on our return.
I’m not sure if it’s a ‘season’ thing but the food selection wasn’t massive. However, there was something for everyone both at breakfast and evening. We couldn’t complain there was nothing to eat. It was well laid out and tidy, the chefs behind the counter were pleasant and the food was great. There is a children’s area and room, also timetables of everything going on in the hotel.
Definitely will return as it’s not far from all the nightlife, about a 10 minute walk. We used ‘benidormseriously.com’ to find all the tribute acts and it was a great few days!

Meliá Benidorm - a nice enough hotel but we felt it was long overdue for refurbishment. Our room 2253 was clean and comfortable with great views but felt very dated. Rituals toiletries in the bathroom was a nice touch. We woke to an awful smell on the first morning, I believe this to be down to the room not being used for a while and the plumbing having not been flushed through - after flushing everything through, the smell was gone so we didn't make a fuss. We booked The Level so had access to the level lounge for drinks and snacks, and could also use this lounge for breakfast until 11am, this was great to be away from the crowds in the main restaurant which did resemble a canteen - bright lights and row upon row of tables. Not sure we'd go again before the rooms are refurbished, as we felt this really let the hotel down.
