I had a fantastic stay at Royal Corales Villas in Tenerife, and one of the highlights was the wellness treatments. I often have a lot of tension and pain in my shoulders, traps, and quads from training and working long hours at a desk. During my stay, I tried two treatments over two days – a sports massage and a deep tissue massage – and both were excellent.
The sports massage was challenging but exactly what I needed to address deep muscle tension, while the deep tissue massage was incredibly soothing yet still focused on the knots in my traps and quads. Both sessions were complimentary, which was such a nice touch.
A huge thank you to Carmin and Guacimara, who were thorough, professional, and very attentive. They explained each treatment clearly and made sure I got the most out of the experience.
If you’re active in the gym or deal with muscle tightness, I’d highly recommend booking these treatments during your stay. They truly made a difference in my recovery and overall relaxation.

My family and I went and got massages at the spa. It was very relaxing and we had a wonderful time! The music, lighting and ambiance of the rooms were delightful. Daniela at the front desk was a huge help and was very accommodating. She was able to fit all five of us within an hour time frame. Carmen the masseuse was very gentle and kind. Overall our experience was amazing and I recommend coming here!

Really beautiful stay celebrating my husband’s birthday. The hotel is recently opened, with many attention to details and a high level of service. We loved the swim up room and all of the amenities. A special thanks to the teams at the pool - Ismael, Diego, Alvaro, and Michelle - and in Bonfire restaurant - Ana, Serena, and Leo, as well as housekeeping and concierge Walke and Katrin. Each one helped make our stay very memorable and special, and we will certainly return in the future!

After spending nearly five days and nights at this hotel, our overall impression is that, unfortunately, it does not live up to its advertised 5-star status—at least not in terms of service. While the setting and amenities may give the appearance of luxury, the service experience fell short of expectations for a hotel in this category.
- We arrived around 6 PM after a long day of travel and wanted to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. The initial response was simply, “Sorry, it’s full.” After about 15 minutes, we were finally offered a table at 7 PM. Ironically, during our meal, we noticed several empty tables. It would have been appreciated if the staff had offered a more proactive or solution-oriented approach from the start.
- The hotel charges €18 per day for parking, which we found to be quite expensive. For those planning to rent a car, it's worth noting that there is a public parking lot directly across the street—about 10 meters away—which is completely free.
- Unfortunately, room service did not meet our expectations and we would not recommend it.
- We used the app to book a transfer to the sister hotel on the coast. When we arrived at reception (ahead of the scheduled departure), we were told the shuttle had already left and was full. When we explained we had a dinner reservation, the staff simply replied, “Sorry, you can wait for the next one in 15–20 minutes.” Again, no real solution was offered.
- At the pool, staff brought glasses of water without us asking—which was appreciated. However, when we requested tap water with our meal at the bar (which is connected to the pool), we were told it wasn’t possible, and the waiter responded quite negatively. This inconsistency in service and attitude was frustrating.
- We tried to book two massages at the spa on a Sunday, but it was closed. A staff member kindly took note of our request. The next day, we followed up and were told we’d be notified as soon as the spa reopened. Unfortunately, no one followed up. We had to call ourselves, only to be transferred and told there was no availability. This left us quite disappointed.
- The bottle of hand soap in the room was empty and no one refilled it during our stay.
This hotel may be new—as we gathered from other reviews—but in our opinion, that’s not an excuse for subpar service at these price points. The infrastructure may be there, but service is what truly defines a 5-star experience, and here, it simply doesn’t measure up.
That said, we want to end on a positive note: the BONFIRE restaurant was a highlight. The food was excellent and the staff were genuinely warm and attentive. A great dining experience!
You can build a beautiful hotel with premium amenities, but without matching service, it loses its value. Based on our experience, this is clearly a 4-star hotel charging 5-star prices.

We had an excellent dinner! The meat dishes were perfectly cooked, the red wine was outstanding, and the side dishes complemented everything beautifully. The service was amazing – all the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended!
