I didn’t read the reviews for this place until after I booked it, I emailed the hotel stating my concern and that I’d hope that we’d be put in a nice room as it was for my partners birthday! Well, let’s just say they obviously didn’t live up to their email.
First day we got there we arrived at 8pm, checked in and we had dinner, the food on the all inclusive buffet is actually really good and I haven’t got any complaints about that, but when we got to our room was the issue.
I paid for a garden view, double room, for up there and it was a “roof top view”, a twin room and the rooms on the first floor where outdated, aircon was broken and stank of god knows what! There was a few people that complained including us because it really did smell awful. We unfortunately had to stay in there for one night until they moved us to the top bungalow which was much nicer but when the cleaners came to do the room they never replenished the teas/coffees and never replaced the cups, they also removed two coke cans from the fridge that me and my partner actually paid for which I thought was extremely rude but I was like fine whatever.
The rest of the stay was fine, there wasn’t many bars open or other food areas and it’s not technically “all inclusive” because you had to pay for food at the outside bar and if you want a slushy from the outside bar, you also have to pay for that too, don’t advertise as all inclusive if you’re not going to provide that service, especially when you do different bookings for all inclusive and not all inclusive, if you’re paying for that service, everything should be included.
Moving on to our last night we booked one of the al a carte restaurants and before we had even sat down the waitress said “this menu is free but this one is extra but you get a €10 discount” we thought ok fine, we ordered of the extra one because of the discount otherwise we would have stuck with the free one. Bill comes, and no discount applied, I explain what the lady previously said and they did take the discount off but we had to pay in cash if we wanted the discount… I don’t see what the different makes unless they’re pocketing it but fine, we had to walk to the nearest ATM which (suprise) was out of order, so we had to walk to the next one and then go back to the restaurant and pay the discounted price in cash.
Then our actual last morning our flight wasn’t until 7:30 and our transfer wasn’t there until 4:35 so we had to sit around until then because there’s not much to do in this area anyway and we asked if we could have lunch as we didn’t get to have it on the first day… nope because check out is at 11pm we couldn’t and I said when we got there on the first day we missed lunch because we had a late flight they said well check in is at 3pm so even if you do get there before then you will not be allowed to have lunch so you’re basically wasting your money for the first day on the all inclusive.
Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and the only nice thing they did was give my partner a complimentary birthday cake which was more like a moose thing but even that was sent on the wrong day and was too big to go in the fridge so it was basically mushy chocolate because we where out all day the next day and didn’t expect it to come when it didn’t turn up on the correct day.
I definitely wouldn’t come here again.

Recently returned from 10 days at Rodos Palace.
Hotel looked good upon arrival but rooms very disappointing, old and worn. Our room was fairly clean, but my brothers was not. Lots of mould in bathroom..
Cleaners accidentally left our room door open 2 days running, I reported to reception, giving them a chance to improve.
Restaurant was a nightmare !! So chaotic and noisy, not a pleasant experience. Staff very busy of course but not much welcome, a few were good...During the time we were there, there were 2 conferences a wedding, and then a Chess tournament ...
Obviously this increased the numbers at mealtime, significantly.
A la Carte Restaurant was good and staff lovely, only wish the 'oriental' meal had been chinese, though the Italian was very good.
Staff elsewhere were very hit or miss as to attitude ! Completely 'blanked' my brother at the bar 1 night, even though he was trying to make conversation with them.
Some staff were very rude to guests, thankfully not us, but could be overheard at the pool bar
being very nasty.
Unfortunately, We will not return to this hotel, and couldn't honestly recommend. I get it some people enjoyed it, but the bad outweighed the good for us.

PLEASE AVOID!!!
We booked in at 01:00 Sunday morning as had a late flight into Rhodes.
Upon arrival the hotel entrance and lobby is nice. Until we got to our room where it is very very dated and wasn’t what was advertised to us.
Our room toilet didn’t work and took multiple times telling reception until they got someone to fix it which was a few days later.
One day they had a fire drill and wasn’t allowed into the hotel for two hours (No given notice).
Another day was a private event and we wasn’t allowed access to parts of the pool and no restaurants (paid for 7 days all inclusive)
Staff are rude and disrespectful.
They ‘thrive’ on a 5* hotel but it’s more like a 2-3*
Me and my partner have paid for a 7 day ALL INCLUSIVE holiday. However on Saturday our checkout day we had no access to anything. They wanted to charge £45 per person for dinner/lunch all drinks they tried to charge us and this included soft drinks and water.
My partner is pregnant and this was supposed to be our last get away before the baby is here and it’s safe to say Rodos Palace ruined it for us and will never stay here again.
Waste of money and time.

An amazing experience!!! My partner and I's trip was right in the middle of August, and even with it being the high-season, everything was top notch. The view is gorgeous, the food is great, the rooms and common areas luxurious, and the staff is pristine. Ms Eirini at the VIP lounge was especially welcoming and accommodating. The spa is very nice as well. The location offers proximity to the city centre w/o all the noise of one, and a plethora of amazing restaurants in walkable distance (it is quite a walk to the city centre though so a car/cab/etc is preferable in that case). There are also small shops in the hotel which is very convenient and their staff is really kind as well. We barely got to see half of what the hotel has to offer, but everything we did was impeccable. Would definitely recommend!!!

I'm writing to share my experience during my recent stay at your hotel. Overall, I found it to be a nice place in a great location. The food was decent, and the general atmosphere was enjoyable. However, a significant issue on the last day of my vacation greatly impacted my impression.
On our final day, without any prior notice, the hotel closed off 75% of the pool area for an external event. This came as a complete surprise and was incredibly frustrating. Imagine being on your last day of vacation, wanting to relax by the pool, only to find most of the available space suddenly gone. There was no information about this change anywhere in the hotel, which made it impossible to plan accordingly.
When we approached the staff about this, they simply shrugged and told us it wasn't their decision, suggesting we could go to the beach instead. This response felt dismissive and unhelpful, especially since we had paid for an all-inclusive stay to enjoy the hotel's amenities. Being forced to go to the public beach meant not only giving up the service we paid for but also having to pay an additional €30 for sunbeds.
This unexpected and poorly handled situation cast a negative shadow over what was otherwise a pleasant stay. I had planned to rate my experience a 7 out of 10, but because of this incident and the lack of communication from the staff, I am giving it a 5 out of 10. I hope you will consider how such decisions affect your guests and ensure better communication in the future.
