We stayed for a week, mid October. We had a 1 bedroom apartment and bigger balcony in building 1. The proximity to beaches, shops, and restaurants was great.
The apartmentt was a good size and it was great to have the lounge chairs and table on the bigger balcony even though at this time of year pool loungers were always available. We overlooked the nightly entertainment, which was entertaining for this type of thing, and at this time of year it only lasted until 10:30. The bedroom was in the back anyway, so don't think it would have disturbed us much if we had gone to bed. Our sink was slightly blocked, but when we mentioned it someone came immediately to fix that. The shower filled up easily and leaked out the screen into the room so you had to have weaker showers or keep turning off the water. The only other things are: it would have been nice to have more than 1 sharp kitchen knife, and more storage in the bedroom.
The pool was clean and refreshing. Cocktails at the pool bar were similar price to others around town, but not as strong.
All the staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
All in all a decent, 3 star hotel.

We have booked Ola Cala D'or Apartments 10 times since 2023. And we once again have booked for another month in 2026.....Why do you ask ? ......It's simple :- The location, The staff and The Apartments.. This all adds to offer really good family holidays... This year our children and grandchildren joined us on our usual September / October vacation and we had a fab family get together. Paco, The Manager and his team, collectively all worked hard to give exceptional service and friendly help and advice on our holiday... ensuring clean, well managed housekeeping and nothing was too much trouble, especially looking after the needs of our grandchildren, both under 4 years of age.....little terrors !! .....We cannot find fault...!! We can only praise Paco and his entire team who go above and beyond to make an enjoyable holiday accommodation.

Great location at the hotel. Rooms were fabulous. We had a studio and 1 bed apartment. Stayed in building 2. Both had balcony. Pool at the tropical garden was good. Got an allocated parking spot too which was a great extra. Bottles of water on arrival was amazing. Basic facilities in the room but good. Live events on every night until late which we didnt know, sometimes a bit loud if we went to bed before midnight. Most of the shows were great though but actually not part of the hotel but connecting company. Pool in building 3 of hotel is tiny and not worth the visit. Think it was pricey for a 3 star. Location to beach and restaurants was great. 5mins walk. And next to calador express stop 13.

This hotel is a good option, especially for families, as there is acces to a nice pool.
The rooms are spacious, but I still didn't get the fact that all over Spain, double bed (Queen size bed) is actually... 2 single beds (twins), very unconfortable.
The hotel was renovated exactlly 20 years ago and you can see it. The hotel needs updates.
The hotel staff is nice and helpful.
Another weak point is that, our room was cleaned only once (in the 4th day of our 7 days vacation), after we request it..
There is also a Bar/Resturant, close to the pool, that offers drinks, foods and some tribute band shows each evening. The food is average (frozen, fast food) and the drinks are a little bit expensive. Most of the waiters are nice, except a tall, skinny, brunette guy, kind of rude, that checked if my shorts are dry, with no warning. I guess he was concerned that I will sit on the terace after I swimed in the pool.
I will return only after renovation. :)

We are a couple in our 30s without kids and just wanted a chilled week in the sun - This hotel was ideal for us, we just wanted somewhere clean, in a good location with a nice swimming pool and this is just that. Pool area is lovely, in early June sunbeds were always available, the pool is clean. The pool bar does a range of drinks and food, it is a teeny bit more expensive but convenient if you dont feel like going anywhere in the day. Good for your basic toasties, beers and cocktails etc, they also do tapas etc. Staff are nice and accomodating. Sport shown on TVs in the pool bar if that's your thing. The evening entertainment is surprisingly really good, we watched it once or twice and it is fun - it does go on from about 9-11.30 so just be mindful of that if you want early nights. The rooms are simple, clean and have balconies - kettle and fridge in the room too. Would be handy to have an iron in the room but you can request one from reception which we did no problem. The location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk to everything, beach, restaurants and bars - Cala Dor itself is beautiful - upmarket and attractive town ideal for couples and families. Really enjoyed ourselves here and would return for another chilled kind of holiday.
