Excellent stay at Koala Gardens.
Rooms were modern and spotlessly clean (we observed cleaning staff take apart lights to dust inside & lightbulbs!)
Bathrooms have modern newly fitted fixtures.
Good range of food.
The Italian restaurant is Excellent and great service at all.
Help yourself soft drinks/coffee
Friendly bar staff with good range of alcoholic drinks.
Easy check in with room available early.
Can't find fault with any aspect of hotel - would stay here again.

The rooms are huge and the bathroom very big with bath n shower n loads of space n spotless. Big balcony overlooking one of 5 pools. Food was good though lunch and dinner choice very similar. Loads of choice at each meal. Need be fully inclusive as very little choice in the vicinity to eat. All alcoholic drinks included too and cocktails. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Just location isn't so good as long walk to the beach and need get bus there or 50 min walk. Just a Spar supermarket near and no other stores nearby which was disappointing. Buses nearby are frequent. The pools were lovely and each zone has its own. Theres only 1 small bar which is a sports bar with a bit of seating outside.

We thought it was ok. Lots of other Brits. There were some other nationalities. We had room only so we were in an adjacent complex to the main area. No problem with that really. The restaurant/cafe on our site was below expectations for us at least. It is privately operated. Swimming pools were very clean and well used. The weather was great for Christmas. We were glad we hired a car. The island was great and the 2000metre volcano was a fantastic drive out. At least if you can drive. The kitchenette was ok in the room kettle, 2 ring induction hob and microwave with a few assorted pans and some cutlery. A coffee percolator didn't seem to work and that was quickly replaced. I would recommend it but just don't pay over the odds for a room only.

For the price we paid this is a really decent hotel, there’s a few minor issues but mostly a decent hotel especially if you’re on a budget.
Service and entertainment: the staff are all very friendly, especially the entertainment team and reception staff. Shout out to Martina- she was great. Evening entertainment was good fun and the entertainment team really try their hardest to make it an enjoyable evening cor everyone.
Restaurant and bar: the food was ‘okay’, wasn’t very varied and was mostly the same every night. The bar wasn’t great, cocktails were pretty disgusting and the spirits are very cheap unfortunately. Amstel is the main beer and proper branded soft drinks are served (coca cola etc)
Rooms: very clean, beds seem to roll around as they’re on wheels which is very annoying.
Pool area: pools clean, sun beds are very uncomfortable as the fabric has worn on most of them so the metal framing penetrates into your back. The pool area gets sun all day.
Overall this is a decent hotel for the price we paid. Would recommend especially if you’re with children as there’s lots to do for them.

Very nice hotel. I had wonderful time with my family. There’s some things that can be fixed. Food is nice but not that varied. Big thanks to waiters from pool bar. They do very good job. Entertainment team 10/10 they love their job. Especially Julia - nice girl. We had a lot of fun during Bingo and other activities.
