We spent 8 days and 7 nights at this hotel, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing.
From the very beginning, it was clear that the reception staff were unfriendly and not helpful at all. The room we received had no soundproofing whatsoever, and when we arrived at night, the terrace door had been left open. It had rained, so the water was standing on the tiles inside the room, and we had to clean it up ourselves. We were placed on the ground floor, where the view was just a fence of the neighboring hotel, and people could easily see into our room. From 10 a.m. until 11 p.m., loud music was playing from the neighboring pool and stage area, with heavy bass. Every morning at 6 a.m., a Turkish prayer was broadcast loudly through speakers, which woke us up without fail. There was a gap of about 3 cm between the door and the frame, and we could hear absolutely everything from the neighboring rooms - even people using the bathroom. Each day, we received half a roll of toilet paper for two people and one bottle of water. The floors were never mopped, no dusting was done, and the shower was in poor condition. There is a safe in the room, but they charge 2 euros per day for it, and if you don't pay, they take no responsibility for anything that goes missing. The internet is also charged separately, 2 euros per day. Another completely unacceptable incident also happened:
One day around 10 a.m., someone started knocking on our door. The "Do Not Disturb" sign was hanging outside, and we were in the middle of getting dressed to go to the beach. We said "just a moment," but the knocking continued more aggressively. When we opened the door, three grumpy men in work clothes were standing there. Without any proper explanation, one of them said in a rude tone: "telephone control," and they forced us out of the room and entered without giving any reason. This behavior was extremely disrespectful and unacceptable. The food was also very disappointing. Breakfast was the same every single day: eggs, yesterday's cheese and cold cuts that already looked questionable. Lunch typically consisted of three options: pasta, rice, sometimes fish, and tasteless grilled meat. Dinner was occasionally slightly better, but not always. The desserts looked nice, but most of them tasted almost the same. Fruits included watermelon, grapes, and moldy plums. The alcoholic drinks were just acceptable, but the beer was very weak, almost like water. The coffee from the machine was terrible. The pools and "services" were not enjoyable either.
There are two pools (not counting the one with the slide). One was so cold that hardly anyone used it, and the other was heated and therefore crowded, mostly with children. At the pool bar, a man repeatedly and aggressively offered massages. Even after we said we were not interested, it was very difficult to get rid of him. He was arrogant and pushy, and many other guests were clearly uncomfortable with him as
well. There is no disco room, daily programs are rare or low-quality, and the evening shows were not impressive - the only acceptable performance was by some African acrobats. The beach is about 800-900 meters from the hotel.
A tractor with a trailer takes guests there, but we preferred walking. The hotel's designated beach area itself was not bad; snacks and beer were available, and the man working there was polite and pleasant. The sea was warm, but a river flows into it nearby and brings a lot of trash, so it's not unusual to see plastic bags floating around you. The hotel shop is very expensive, but there is a bazaar nearby where you can buy the same products for much less. However, the sellers there are very aggressive, especially during the day when there are fewer customers - they try to pull you into their shops, which is very uncomfortable. At night, when there are more people, this is less of an issue. Overall, we are extremely dissatisfied with
this hotel.
We will definitely not return, and we cannot recommend it to anyone.

We recently stayed at Club Mermaid Village. Overall, the hotel is fine — the rooms are clean, the facilities are decent, and the general atmosphere is pleasant enough.
However, there are two things that really took away from the experience.
First, the music at the pool area is excessively loud. It’s not just lively — it’s blasting to the point where you can barely hold a conversation or enjoy a moment of peace. If you’re hoping to relax by the pool, this can quickly become overwhelming.
Second, while I understand that guests want to have fun, it’s frustrating and genuinely unsafe when people play with a hard volleyball around the pool. There are plenty of guests trying to relax, yet large goals are set up right next to sunbeds, and balls are flying dangerously close — or directly into — people. I was hit in the head with full force, ended up with a black eye, swelling, and had to spend an entire day in my room with a headache.
What’s particularly frustrating is that there’s another pool nearby, next to the water slides, which is closed every day from 12 to 2 PM. It would make far more sense — and be much safer — to allow ball games in that area during that time, rather than in the middle of a crowded poolside filled with families.
All in all, Club Mermaid Village has potential, but some basic changes to noise levels and a serious rethink of safety around the pool area are needed.

Great hotel, polite staff and great food. I recommend this hotel to everyone!
In the photo, a very impolite lifeguard. What is he paid for and how can he monitor safety from this place. He is constantly writing something on his phone or talking.

Still at the hotel but what a big disappointment. The staff is unfriendly and short. The rooms are minuscule and dated, shower head is blocked, cockroaches in the room. Only 2 swimming pools and quite small, people blocking seats since the night before and no one doing anything about it. Floors are slippery everywhere even in your own bathroom, Wifi is 17eur per person, can’t even share because they ask for your phone and put in the code themselves. Music is super loud everywhere. A la carte restaurant is closed while in high season. Hotel gives an all-over worn impression, we payed quite a big sum to stay here, and when you arrive you see this old hotel, what a bummer. Food is ok, not too bad but showcased in a way it really does not inspire your hunger. Very chaotic at meal times. Beach is 15min walk away and quite ok, snacks at beach are not included however, so if you stay the day you have to keep going back and forth. Antalya center is 15kms away, 1hr in public transport, so no center at walking distance, only a few bazars with very unpleasant personnel. We booked through Sunweb and had a 3 hour drive from the airport. With a stop in between where they charge you enormous amounts in Turkish Lira for eating something (we had to eat since our flight was delayed for 3 hours and it was already passed midnight and we hadn’t eaten in forever) 7eur for a very small kebab and 7eur for a really small portion of fries. So beware!

Overall, we had a great stay at the hotel. The best part was definitely the staff, especially the Animation Team and Kadir – they were very friendly and always helpful whenever we needed anything.We also really liked the evening activities! The food tasted good, but the main dishes were a bit repetitive.
