Cala d'Or Apartments

Apartments are good size with fully equipped kitchen. Bedroom a bit small but with a dressing table which is a plus. Balcony overlooking the sea and all the hotels on the other side (very nice). However there are some downsides - first of all as many people mentioned already, it's very loud at night till 4 o clock every day (due to bars and pubs downstairs) There's no aircon so you either have this noise or you're roasting hot with closed windows. Cleaning service is not every day, so keep this in mind when you use your towels. There's an entertainment every evening so if it's not your cup of tea I would consider booking with other hotel. Very good point is that there are 2in1 hotels - Altair and Cala Dor so you can use facilities like bar and pool area alternately (we preferred pool area at Altair as it's quieter. Overall good value for money.

Have just returned from a amazing family holiday at cala dor the appartments are very good . The staff are amazing and can't do enough for you. My tiny 6y old grandaughter sang every night at the karaoke and they were amazing with her . She and her 8yr old brother made so many friends and swopped contact details. Could not have picked a better hotel . Thank you cala dor for our beautiful memories we've made.

Ok I’m writing this review just for insight for others I do not want to sound too disappointed because I’m not there is just some things I think people should know good and not so good before they book , now for a 3 star apartment complex wow it’s a lovely very clean and maintained beautifully the staff are incredible and will go above and beyond for you , there is a little shop and a couple of shops just outside the complex as well but the not so good is the noise from entertainment not on the complex so much as that finishes at midnight but the noise is from the other pubs and clubs and unfortunately does not finish till 4am 5 days out of 7 and it’s perfect when you keep doors closed but then you struggle because no air conditioning and it’s just too hot so it’s a bit of a tough one I understand 3 star won’t have all needs covered I just think it would of been perfect with AC because the swimming pool is lovely and the food at the snack bar is at least a 4 star it’s delicious and the noise is very loud but other than those couple of snags it’s a lovely complex but unfortunately because of the noise me and my partner would not return so I hope in the future they can think of fitting rooms with AC or even a good fan would be great , I’ve put 1 star for location just based on noise but the location for shops bars and restaurants would be a 5 star

rooms are extremely unclean. arrived at this hotel late last night to find stained bedding and pillows and clumps of hair all around the apartment. aswell as that, cockroaches outside our room. all staff here are extremely kind and welcoming. However, i mentioned to reception that one of the rooms had an awful eggy smelly and explained the issue with how unclean everything is. We had been told someone would come to sort it out and after all day, no one has been. In addition to this, a kettle in our room leeks and we were left with water all over the sides and covered our charging cables. apart from this, the rest of the hotel is lovely and a great place to be. Just the rooms need to be more taken care of.

Lovely hotel, smaller but very nice! Been refurbed. Very clean and staff were fabulous.could do with a pool table! Location excellent. Just one thing.. the towels small awful. We had to ask for them to be changed a few times and also heard others.. they are just old but really need updating. Everything else great and would stay again. Loved being able to use Altair pool area too...that pool seemed warmer.
