We are writing this review to share our very disappointing experience at this hotel. Last year we booked it for our family getaway during the Easter holidays. We have travelled to Turkey many times, including several visits to Bodrum, and we have always returned because of the excellent hospitality and the beauty of the Turkish coast and sea.
Let me start with the positive aspects, which are the only reason this review receives two stars rather than one. The location of the hotel is genuinely beautiful. It is surrounded by greenery, has a lovely private beach, and overall the grounds are well maintained. The restaurant and bar staff were also friendly and professional.
Unfortunately, our experience with the animation team was extremely poor and ultimately overshadowed the rest of our stay. They were the rudest and laziest team we have ever encountered in any hotel we have visited. If you have children older than six, this hotel is simply not suitable.
In practice, there were almost no activities available for children. My son, who is eight years old, was unable to take part in anything. When he tried to join the darts activity, the animation manager refused to allow him to participate, claiming it was too dangerous. However, at the same time they allowed clearly intoxicated adults to play. He was not even allowed to participate if accompanied by me or as part of a team with me.
Similarly, he was not allowed to join the volleyball games. The only thing the children could do was play football using the water polo goals, and even those were eventually removed because they were apparently “too noisy”. It felt as though the animation team went out of their way to make the experience worse rather than better.
When we raised these concerns with the hotel manager, the response was dismissive and frankly bizarre. She mentioned that she also lives in Germany, which was completely irrelevant to the issue we raised, and simply repeated that these were “established rules”. We have stayed in many hotels across Europe and beyond, and children accompanied by parents have always been allowed to join activities. If participation is restricted, the least a family-oriented resort can do is organise alternative activities for children.
There were also other negative experiences. My partner had an issue at the spa where she was given additional services that she never requested and was charged for them. To the hotel’s credit, this was refunded after we complained, but it should never have happened.
My partner works as a chef in a luxury hotel in the United Kingdom and, when visiting five-star hotels, she often politely asks whether it is possible to see the kitchen. Chefs are usually very welcoming and happy to show their facilities. This was the only hotel where such a simple request was refused outright.
Overall, the experience was very disappointing. Thankfully the location is beautiful and the weather was good, which allowed us to enjoy our holiday despite these issues. However, there are many excellent hotels in Bodrum, and based on our experience we would strongly recommend choosing another one.

Bodrum Holiday Resort & Spa is a classic large-scale Aegean resort designed for an easy, no-stress holiday.
The location by the sea works well, with a private beach and generous pool areas that give the place a proper resort feel. The grounds are spacious and well maintained, though the layout is slightly hilly, which you notice over a longer stay.
Rooms are simple but comfortable and kept clean. Service is friendly and relaxed rather than polished, which fits the overall atmosphere of the hotel.
Food is decent for an all-inclusive resort — plenty of choice, though not particularly memorable. The hotel works best when approached as a casual holiday base rather than a luxury destination.
Overall: a solid option for guests looking for sun, sea and an uncomplicated all-inclusive stay in Bodrum, especially suited to families and relaxed couples rather than those seeking refinement.

Went her for 2nd time, given exactly same room as the previous visit. Place needs a total upgrade, outside flooring extremely dangerous when wet, even though there's signs saying slippery? I slipped 3 time's in 2 days, the 2nd time I jolted my back, 3rd time i glazed my right shin. And I've got no walking issues. If you have problems with mobility then please avoid, it's built on the side of a mountain.
Good points were weather was excellent, bar staff were friendly, house keeping was good. Food good.

We stayed at this hotel and were absolutely delighted! The room was very clean, with daily housekeeping — not a speck of dust. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, truly unforgettable — a real paradise!
The food at the restaurant deserves special praise: the variety of dishes was impressive! Every day there were fresh seafood options — shrimp, calamari, octopus, and fish. Meat lovers won’t be disappointed either. And the number of delicious desserts and cocktails was overwhelming — so many choices!
The staff were always smiling, attentive, and friendly. The atmosphere was very warm and pleasant.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From start to finish hotel and staff were great. The hotel is a bit dated but very clean and homely.
On arrival, we arrived late, and the receptionist told us to go straight for dinner in case we missed it while waiting to check in. This was brilliant service from the hotel as we would have missed it if we had to check in first.
The rooms are very nice and clean, beds are the most comfortable beds I've slept in on a holiday and the pillows are so comfortable. The onky issue with room was the flushing of the toilet was never enough water but not a big deal, the showers are brilliant and water pressure is great.
The grounds are beautiful and loveky walks in the evening time we beautiful views all around.
The spa is excellent and well worth the money for massages, the spa and steam is free for all guests which is brilliant service to have available for free. The indoor swimming was frezzing but also great to have an i door pool so not a big deal.
The bar staff were brilliant, and the cocktails were very enjoyable. The food was very good compared to other all-inclusive hotels I've been to, lots of options with meat, salads, deserts, and 2 different soups available every day, with gorgeous breadrolls too.
One thing which I haven't sent in any hotel across many countries I've been to is the checkout we had to check out at 12.00, we weren't picked up until 17.00, I asked to manager would it be ok eat before we left that evening he told me to eat and drink what I want until we were leaving also let us keep towels and told us to use the spa showers to freshen up before leaving. This made the day of leaving so much easier as every hotel we have been to takes off your bracelet and basically tells you that your stay Ii over no food, no drink! So I have to give huge credit to the hotel for this as it's on offer for all guests
