As a couple, we really enjoyed our experience from start to finish. From the moment we entered reception, we were greeted with friendly service and this standard did not change throughout our 5 night stay. Our room was excellent, very spacious, clean and modern. The lighting was perfect with plenty of settings to have your room lit to your preference. We are frequent travellers, and we appreciate the little details. For example, the air con was quick and virtually silent which is not always the case. We had a mini coffee machine in our room with very good quality coffee pods which were replenished regularly. The furnishings were spotless and the bathroom had zero signs of wear. Our balcony gave us a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and surroundings and caught the sun perfectly. The design of the hotel generally was fantastic, and the amazing spiral staircase leading to a foyer/lobby with a grand piano and bar was very impressive. The breakfast and dinner area sit across from an outdoor pool and relaxation area, there is outside seating which again catches the sun perfectly. We were out a lot and so unfortunately didn't have time to sample the dinner menu. Lastly, the hotel is around an 8 minute walk to a lovely beach which also has a restaurant and bar. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

We chose Aqua Pedra dos Bicos as the hotel for our wedding guests, and it turned out to be absolutely perfect. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay, and our wedding weekend, so special.
We hosted our welcome event on the rooftop, and it was phenomenal. The setup, the views, and the overall atmosphere were incredible. The bar staff were so kind and accommodating, they even stayed open late for our group (we eventually had to tell them to close so everyone could get some sleep before the big day!).
A huge thank you to Liliana and the guest services team for the thoughtful touches in each room. Our guests arrived to beautifully prepared Portuguese sweets and handwritten notes in each guest room, which made such a lovely first impression! Carlos was also wonderful, helping us coordinate reservations and making sure everything ran smoothly. And though I can’t remember his name, another young gentleman at the front desk was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Aside from one slightly grumpy encounter at the front desk, every single staff member we met was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Our guests loved the pool area and had a fantastic time relaxing there between events.

We stayed for 8 nights. A wonderful hotel, possibly the best we have ever stayed in. A large cozy room with a amazing view. Impeccable cleanliness throughout all areas. Excellent, friendly staff, like old friends. The best part is the food; I have never seen breakfast and dinner prepared so deliciously and beautifully anywhere else. The morning Prosecco is an extra bonus. I was also very pleased with the little touch of always having cold water with mint and citrus in the lobby. We will definitely return without any doubts.

My husband and I have high standards & this hotel was simply perfect with a boutique vibe and an amazing location!
The front desk was polite and very helpful. The property & pool(brisk) area were extremely clean and well maintained. The room and king size bed were large, comfortable and well laid out. The breakfast buffet offered lots of options and was very clean. We were lucky to always get a free parking spot out front and it was a short but steep walk to the beach. We would definitely recommend this adults only hotel and would come back.

Good location with decent restaurants and bars around the corner and the strip is easily walkable. There is a direct train that runs to the Old Town with the nearest stop just over a 10 minute walk away, otherwise you could get a bolt/ uber for €3-€6. Hotel itself was clean and quiet, ideal for couples. Beds were large and comfortable in modern rooms. Breakfast buffet was varied and food was good quality. Would recommend a visit to the rooftop bar in the evenings for some stunning views.
