We had a truly wonderful stay at JA Ocean View Hotel, and the biggest reason was the incredible staff who went above and beyond for our family.
A special thank you to Yogesh, the evening chef, who was fantastic — warm, friendly, and always welcoming. His kindness and positive energy really stood out and made our evenings so enjoyable.
Breakfast each morning was just as special thanks to the Punjabi chef in the Coral Lounge (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch his name). He was absolutely lovely and such a comforting presence. During the frightening time when the missile attacks were happening, he could see how anxious and scared I was, especially travelling with young children. He spoke so kindly to me, reassured me, and genuinely helped me feel calmer and safer.
We’re also incredibly grateful to Methal from the Coral Lounge breakfast team. He truly bent over backwards to accommodate our three-year-old son, who is a very fussy eater, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Beyond that, he showed such sincere care and compassion. He could see how worried I was during the attacks and went out of his way to comfort me and make me feel at ease. His warmth and attentiveness meant more than I can say.
Those three team members made our stay absolutely delightful, even during such a stressful and uncertain time. It’s staff like them who turn a hotel stay into something truly meaningful and memorable. JA Ocean View should be incredibly proud to have such kind, dedicated people on their team.

We totally loved our stay in JA Ocean View Hotel. The location is just perfect, so convenient, so many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars around plus the beach just across the street. What felt most special were the hotel staff. Altough this is a huge hotel, the staff knew our names, they were always helpful, kind and pleasant. We especially had a wonderful time in our breakfasts and dinners with Rahman, Francis, Htut and Sumamth. Thanks to them, staying in this huge hotel felt like being in a small cute boutique hotel where there are only few guests and everyone knows each other. We would surely choose this hotel again. Thank you for such lovely time.

Amazing hotel, perfect location, and truly outstanding staff! The property is just a 2-minute walk from Jumeirah Beach, which made it incredibly convenient for us.
The rooms and food were absolutely 10/10. We had a beautiful sea-view room, and it exceeded our expectations. We arrived four hours before the official check-in time, and the staff did their very best to prepare our room early — with no extra charges, which we really appreciated.
We booked through Love Holidays, where it showed that only breakfast was included. To our pleasant surprise, we were informed that we could also enjoy either lunch or buffet dinner. Even better, if we missed lunch or dinner on certain days, they were flexible and allowed us to use those meals on another full day when we stayed at the hotel. That level of flexibility and customer care was impressive.
A special thank you to Hussain in the food section, Bhumi, and Tun, Paul, Omar, Bilawal, house keeping(forgot his name)honestly the entire team — everyone was amazing and made our stay memorable.
10/10 hotel — we will definitely be visiting again!

Our stay at this accommodation in Dubai was, overall, a pleasant experience. The view from the rooms was truly special, offering a unique perspective that made our stay even more enjoyable. Cleanliness was impeccable and deserves full marks, while the staff (at least initially) appeared polite and welcoming. The location is also a strong advantage, being just a breath away from Dubai Marina, which made getting around and enjoying the area extremely convenient.
However, I unfortunately encountered an issue with the reception that significantly affected my overall impression.
During our stay, I once requested an extra key card for my room and was given one without being asked for any additional clarification. The same happened the following day when my sister requested a key card for another room where a different member of our group was staying and they handed it over without hesitation.
Due to an unforeseen circumstance, we had to extend our stay in one of the two rooms (which was not under my name). On the afternoon of February 12, 2026, I went to reception to ask them to renew the room key, as the previous one had expired. Not only did they initially refuse, but they also insisted that because the room appeared to be booked for one person only, they could not renew the card (despite having freely issued key cards on the previous two days without requesting any verification).
I explained the situation in detail and clarified that, due to the unexpected circumstances, the person under whose name the reservation was made, was unable to answer the room phone they insisted on calling to confirm authorization. That person was not in the hotel at the time. I was asked to wait in the lobby. After 20 minutes during which no one had even addressed my request, I politely approached them again to remind them.
The colleague of the receptionist who initially assisted me showed the same reluctance to help, rigidly adhering to bureaucratic procedures that, under the circumstances, lacked any practical logic. I insisted that I had the guest’s permission and even had his passport with me to prove I was authorized (especially since, after the extension, I was also staying in that room). Nevertheless, after almost 45 minutes of waiting, I was told that telephone confirmation was still required.
They never actually made the call themselves. Eventually, I had to use my personal phone to contact the guest, who confirmed that I had permission to enter the room, a room where, in the meantime, my personal belongings were located.
When they finally renewed and handed me the key cards, there was not even a simple apology for the uncomfortable and exhausting situation I had been put through for nearly an hour. The cards were handed to me silently, without courtesy or acknowledgment.
If strict procedures are to be followed, they should be applied consistently at all times of the day. Not selectively and only when it is convenient.

We had an excellent stay at JA Ocean View Hotel. Everything from start to finish exceeded our expectations, especially the outstanding service. The staff truly go out of their way to meet your needs and make you feel comfortable. A special thank you to Paul, who showed great care and professionalism and made sure our needs were fully met, leaving us feeling valued and well taken care of. A special mention also goes to the lounge breakfast experience — Joni, Methue, and Chef Ashish made us feel genuinely welcomed every morning and provided exceptional service. Their attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism really stood out and made our mornings memorable. The hotel itself is beautiful, with breathtaking ocean views that you can enjoy right from your room. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and inviting. This hotel truly delivers excellence in every aspect, from service to comfort and views. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-quality experience in Dubai.
